Map & Directions

Upon arrival in Zurich airport (www.zurich-airport.com) the train station is clearly signposted with a train symbol. There is a departures board to indicate train times and destinations with platform numbers. Trains depart for St.Gallen twice an hour.

 

Tickets can be bought at the counter or on the train, sbb (Swiss Francs, Euros and major Credit Cards are accepted).

 

The train journey to St.Gallen takes approximately 50 minutes.

The bus number 5 (to "Rotmonten") leaves regularly (every 10 minutes)

outside the train station and is clearly sign posted. The final stop "Rotmonten" is the stop for the Convention Centre "WBZ Holzweid".

 

Please note bus tickets cost CHF 2.50 (Swiss Francs only) per journey and can be bought on the bus, but exact charge is required.

 

Taxis can be taken from outside the main railway station in St.Gallen.

Take the freeway exit "St.Gallen-Kreuzbleiche" and follow the direction to the city centre (Zentrum). After the tunnel exit you will find a sign “WBZ Holzweid”.

The Congress Centre has an underground parking facility with a limited number (50) spaces.

There is a minimum charge of CHF8.- which is valid for 8 hours. Thereafter, the charge is CHF 0.50 per hour. Tickets can be paid for with Swiss Francs, Euro or credit card.

 

Parking is also available in the ‘Blue Zone’ areas around the campus. Daily parking permits can be bought for CHF 6.50 at the Congress Registration/Information desk and must be placed in the car in clear view.
