Round Table Discussion

The Round Table Session aims at dealing with a limited number of subject areas in a more thorough and detailed way. Before the session, each participants decides - based on the programme information as well as on the abstracts in the conference proceddings - which research papers might be interesting for him- or herself. At the beginning of the session, the participants take a place at the table assigned to the paper chosen. The session starts with a 5-10-minute presentation of the paper followed by an intensive discussion of this particular subject. The presenter has the task to prepare questions to guide the discussion. Each round table discussion will take about 20 minutes so that the participant has the chance to follow four subject areas of interest, in total.

The Round Table Discussion provides the possibility to get in-depth insights into four particular subject areas, including the possiblity to discuss interesting aspects with the author(s) of the paper.
